I went fishing with my son Ethan today we went to Strawberry Res. good time was had by all! We had pretty good success, in fact Ethan kicked my butt 3 to 2... My leg and hip are still giving me problems, but I have had time to reflect on everything and who knows maybe I won't ever lace up those running shoes again, and I think that would be alright with me. I mean there are more important things in life than worrying about if I will heal in time to train for a marathon and so forth. I wonder if I could get any cross training miles for catching 5 fish with my son, or at the very least 500 commando points from Brent, I know this sounds like a commercial;  spending the day fishing with my son, "Priceless"!

I'm out!

Sounds like a great Saturday to me Clay! Congrats on the 5 fish with you son and the good attitude and perspective. Hope I can learn something from you as you deal with the injuries and life without running.

Keep up the great attitude Clay! There are more important things in life than running, although there are some on this blog that would disagree. Just take it easy and get better and press on my friend, that's what life is all about.
