I ran up to the Mail boxes this morning, the sciatica was right down nasty going up but it seemed the steeper downhill the less it hurt... I tried not to push the downhill portion and I keep the pace around 8:00 miles on the way down, once I was back on canal road the sciatica seemed to calm down and not be so much of a factor, I mean I could still feel it but it was less painful;-) My legs were dead by the time I reached the house so it must have been a pretty good workout consider the leg fatigue, my average pace was 8:40 with my heart rate around 142 and total time was 53:00... I did some strength training on my upper body on the bowflex and did some strength training that will help strengthen up my back area, so I'm hoping that will help...

That is a great run Clay! I love to run up that hill, but I even like it more on the way down. You can really feel the burn right when you pass the gravel pit! Good job, hope the sciatica loosens up for you!
