I ran out towards mini GU corner, my legs felt a little better but then towards the end they really got tired...My hip was sore again and by the time I was done my foot was hurting and getting sore also, I iced it for about 10 minutes thats about all I could stand. My average pace was 8:57 with my heart rate average at 144, way to high again, total time was 45:09. I am really wondering if I should take some serious time off and not run again until all my aches and pains are healed up and gone, I just don't have the drive to cross train, and running is the only thing that seems to do it for me mentally, so I am having a hard time deciding on the right course and what to do. I can run with my hip the way that it is but then it doesn't seem to get any better, but then again it doesn't seem to get any worse either and I know the PF on my left foot will eventually heal up, so I don't know what to do! I guess I will take it a day at a time and just see how it goes and if I feel like taking a day off then I will, if anyone has any other advice out there for me then just feel free to comment.

See ay later.

Clay I know just how you feel, I'm in the same boat as you as far as not knowing the best route to go to get healed up properly. Like you said...the crosstraining just isn't quite the same as a good run.

As far as advice, I feel like I'm pretty clueless lately. Perhaps a trip to a sports doc might be the ticket. But then again depending on the money/insurance situation that's not always a possibility.

Good luck to you, I hope you can find a training regiment that works.

I'm with both of you. I've got a couple of nagging injuries (hip and hammy) that I am able to run with but I wonder if they will ever heal up even with easy running. It seems like they have gone on forever. If you all figure it out, let me in on the secret. In the mean time I'm sure I will do the wrong thing by continuing to run on them.
