Great job Merri.

Thanks so much. I was hoping tonight was the biggest loser premier, but no such luck. instead dancing w/ the stars and Castle

From Burt on Tue, Sep 21, 2010 at 01:02:37 from 68.225.214.248

Castle?

From Merri on Tue, Sep 21, 2010 at 13:32:48 from 160.7.252.148

It's like a murder solving type show. He's an author and works w/ a woman detective. :)

From allie on Tue, Sep 21, 2010 at 14:09:02 from 161.38.218.168

i've heard good things about castle. looks like i will have to find a way to steal cable from my neighbor so i can see it. is this possible? burt?

nice running, merri. you're doing great.

From Burt on Tue, Sep 21, 2010 at 14:44:56 from 206.19.214.144

Merri - sounds like a delightful romp.

allie - I can save you $5 on your monthly satelite bill.

which of you two can get me a slingbox??? :) Hey Allie great pics from the marathon! You looked so good. In the one while you're running are you wearing sleeves? And then did you toss them? Tell me more about these sleeves I am curious! B/c sometimes I don't want to run in a long sleeve shirt, I just need something to keep my arms a little warm.

From Burt on Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 12:11:26 from 206.19.214.144

Merri - Try rubbing magic berry juice on them. That's what the woman detective would do.

From allie on Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 12:12:27 from 174.19.51.35

oh the sleeves! this is the best thing ever. they are black nylon trouser socks from smith's marketplace. 3 pairs for $5!!! just cut out the toe seam and slip them on your arms. you stay nice and warm and when you are warmed up and ready to remove them, they slide off easily. i usually just toss mine in the trash at an aid station. this saves you from losing a shirt, and they are much easier to remove than pulling a shirt or jakcet over your head while you are trying to run. they do sell real versions of these sleeves with the nike logo on them, but they are like $40 or something. ridiculous. i endorse the trouser socks!

Allie not only are you a fast runner, but you're a genius! I love it. I never would have thought of it.

Burt I've already done it.

From Burt on Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 12:21:50 from 206.19.214.144

I really was about ready to report allie to the race officials. I too noticed the lack of arm covering at the finish line. I was sure she just ran half and had her twin sister run the second half. They were so careful to match outfits and shoes, but they had one little slip up.

From Merri on Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 12:23:49 from 160.7.252.148

You are a good detective burt. :)

From allie on Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 12:27:38 from 174.19.51.35

i would never be so cruel as to ask someone to match outfits with me -- purple top, lime green bib#, pink shoes. sick. a recipe for vomit. oh, i get it now...

From Burt on Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 12:30:35 from 206.19.214.144

I just want to be an author with a sexy woman detective friend.

Right before Derek crossed the finish line at London's Run he must have saw a picture of your outfit..

From Merri on Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 12:32:41 from 160.7.252.148

The detective's last name on the show is beckett. pretty close to hackett. but mccumber isn't really close to castle. sorry bubs.

From allie on Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 12:34:14 from 174.19.51.35

i had no choice. i found out that my singlet was purple at 11 pm the night before the race. all i had were pink shoes. i couldn't sleep knowing how many eyes i was going to hurt in the morning.

20 comments and no blog entry?

From Merri on Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 23:01:55 from 160.7.252.148

It's reverse psychology. i'm hoping by not blogging i'll get some comments.
