Hopefully I am back from the dead finally! I'm still not 100%. My weight is down to 152. I was a little tired on this run but I got it done.

I am tired of being sick. I went to the doctor last friday and got a z-pac. I'm hoping it knocks out whatever I have.

Easy/Recovery run today. My legs were pretty heavy after my 16 miler yesterday. It's amazing how quickly my fitness goes away. Just a few days of reduced effort running and I can really feel it. (I think it's an age thing :-(

These 9:00 miles are brutal on my legs. They feel like lead weights by the time I run 5-6 miles. I really hate running like this but it does keep my HR really low.

Much better today! Finally I felt like I could breath. I still have a rattling in my chest but I didn't bother me too much.

Today's schedule called for 10 easy miles, 6 in the morning and 4 in the evening. I can't run this evening (roping practice) so I had to do all 10 this morning.

I felt very comfortable running this pace. I figure my recovery HR at 137 so this run was just slightly above that. It's funny that not too long ago my HR would have run 10-12 beats per minute faster for the same run.

I hope I'm back...I think I'm back!

And he did not permit him but said to him, “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”

(He has truely done a lot for me!)

So I don't have pheumonia, just bad bronchitis. The doctor put me on a second dose of a stronger antibiotic and I'm already feeling much better. I think I'll be running again tomorrow...I'm beginning to breath again.
