I've been in a little pain the last few days after suffering another cycling accident. No broken bones this time but I destroyed my bike, helmet and shoes. Here's a picture of the cuts and scrapes that aren't covered up by clothing.

Isaiah 52:14-15

14 Just as there were many who were appalled at him—
his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being
and his form marred beyond human likeness—
15 so he will sprinkle many nations,
and kings will shut their mouths because of him.
For what they were not told, they will see,
and what they have not heard, they will understand.

Damn bro! Are you okay? Looks like you were going 100 mph when you fell.

From SlowJoe on Wed, Jul 02, 2014 at 11:01:59 from 168.215.171.129

Woah! Yikes, I'm glad you're alright. Looks like more than "a little pain." Compared to your face, your foot probably doesn't feel too bad by comparison, huh?

I hope you heal up and feel better soon. Sorry about your bike.

From I Just Run on Wed, Jul 02, 2014 at 12:37:03 from 67.79.11.242

DZ, I was only going about 35...long story, riding out of my league and had a front tire blowout. My back and elbows look the same. Plenty of stitches, scrapes and bruises. Knocked out, ambulance ride, ct scans, x-rays, etc. It's all because of this dang foot!

From Derunzo on Wed, Jul 02, 2014 at 19:22:12 from 24.218.179.128

Whoa!!!!! I thank God that you are still with us. Rest up and let everything heal.

From Matt Schreiber on Wed, Jul 02, 2014 at 21:00:49 from 66.17.102.175

Damn!! Is right. Glad to see you're "ok". I've tried the 35mph thing before, too. It's a whole different ball game up there. Seriously.. Glad you're alright. Looks like things could've turned out pretty bad(der).

From Tom K on Thu, Jul 03, 2014 at 09:15:58 from 174.58.4.250

DUDE! That is, at least, 2 bike wrecks too many! Wow. 35 mph is very fast.

From Russ on Thu, Jul 03, 2014 at 19:34:13 from 24.72.194.88

Wow. Sorry to hear Preston, but so glad that you're not hurt worse. I hope you're able to quickly recover from the soreness and your foot allows you to run soon. Like really soon.

How long were you knocked out? No concussion?

From Hillbilly Runner on Thu, Jul 03, 2014 at 20:24:42 from 207.162.186.109

Wow, Dude that had to hurt. I'm glad to hear that you're OK. Sounds like you might have came out better than your bike did. Take care of yourself.

From JG on Sun, Jul 06, 2014 at 12:17:39 from 98.237.61.17

Whoa Preston ... praying you heal up quickly! Please change you bog title to 'I don't bike'

From I Just Run on Mon, Jul 07, 2014 at 14:30:13 from 67.79.11.242

I think I'm back in the land of the living now. My right shoulder is still really sore but everything else is better.

My wife says I've got to quit "living on the edge of beyond", so I decided to rename my blog title to that. :-) Hoping to start running soon and maybe get me a new bike. :-(

Russ, I'm not sure how long I was out but for a few minutes. I also have some blank spot in my memory from the rest of that afternoon.

Sorry I haven't been on all our you guys blogs lately but I promise to be back soon!

From Yasir on Mon, Jul 07, 2014 at 15:07:39 from 99.20.240.112

I'm really glad that you are OK. Pleae slow down.

From Tom Slick on Sun, Jul 13, 2014 at 09:34:39 from 69.171.160.196

Looks like you got trapped in the pin with a wild bull hell bent on stomping your face into mush. Dude, you gotta be more careful!!! Get better quickly!
