10 Miles today on the Big Loop. I'm a little lost in my training right now regarding goals, paces, etc. Not knowing what I'm traing for and the heat and humidity and my irritating knee have also got me kind of confused. I decided to Just Run today and make it up as I go. What I decided was to run 2 miles at 9:30 pace, then 2 miles at 9:00, then 2 miles at 8:30 then 2 miles at 8:00, then 2 miles at 7:30. Well, I got out of wack on the first 2 miles (too fast) so I just tried to adjust my two's after that. Anyway it was different and kinda fun. In some areas it's really hard to keep a consistant pace over two different miles, with the hills and all.

Luke 15:3-7 He told them this parable. "Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldn’t leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it? When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing. When he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance." |
