Today we had a morning saturday workout for my XC team. We started with a 2 mile warmup then we ran to highlands track and did 1 mile of speed changes there. I was feeling really good at this point. I was going with susannah and natalie but on the last two laps i left them and just wanted to finnish so i went faster. After the speed changes we did a timed mile. My time was 6:45, I was sad about this time because i knew i could of gone faster but I thought we were doing more of the miles so i wanted to stay consistant. I think i should of done a 6:30 but oh well. After the timed mile we did 6 4oos. I was supposed to do 1:45 pace for all of them but i did a 1:29 for all 6. I was amazed how consistant i was cause usually i am all over the place. After the 4oos we did 6 strides on the grass we finnished with a 1.5 mile cool down. Overall i loved this workout. We should do it a lot more because it was fun. |
