AM: Half mile warm up, then some things with the 4x100 team then I cooled down till at two miles. Then when I got home, squats, arm swings, push ups, crunches, side crunches and bike crunches. PM: Half mile warm up with Larry, did 8x150 meter strides on the track, stretched and got water in the shade, then 3x400. My times were 73, 74, 72. I wanted to hit 72 for all of them. I don't know if it was the lack of water or the heat or both but after the first one I was ok, tired, but ok. The second one I was dead after, could barely breathe and was hard to finish. I was dreading the third. I had Larry go first and I had to catch him but he dropped out after 50 meters because he got a jolt of pain in his knee... But I did it and hit my time... Finally. Then I stretched in the cool shade and caught my breath again then cooled down till I was at 3 miles. |
