This morning I went over to Sugarhouse park to do a workout. I was an idiot thought cause they locked the track due to the fireworks. So I did a mile warm up then a mile of one lightpost on and one off. Then I stopped and stretched and found out the workout. It was supposed to be 2 600s with 200 recovery inbetween. So the first one was uphill and I did a 1:58 which is good but I didnt get out fast enough. Then I did the second one down the hill and my time was 1:57 which is horrible! So I had to redo it so I jogged the 600 back up to the start and redid it. This time my 600 was 1:50 which is better but still not fast enough. Then my parents came and got me because we had to mow 3 lawns so i am counting that as a 1.5 mile cooldown:) PM: Five miles at Tiny Tots. Did a mile and a half warm up, then jogged another lap warm up with the kids then jogged around 3 laps with the kids while they were doing speed changes. Then did another lap around the track then I did a cooldown till five miles which was about 2 miles. |
