Unusually warm temps. for March in the mid-60's at race time, sunny and windy.

I thought I was in similar shape or better than last year when I got a 1:40.  Maybe getting covid early January and a darn cold two weeks before the race had a bigger effect on me than I thought it would.

After 5 miles I was 50 seconds ahead of last year and then all the rest of my miles were slower than last year as I headed into the wind and my body didn't respond they way I thought it would.  At mile 7 my left leg started cramping up so I took a short walk break.  Ended up taking short walking breaks about every mile thereafter.

The bright side was that I won my AD which is much easier when there are only 3 people of the 220 runners in my AD.

Miles 1-4 (6:58, 7:08, 7:29, 7:43)

Miles 5-8 (7:02, 7:57, 8:02, 8:37)

Miles 9-13 (8:35, 8:45, 8:28, 8:46, 8:34)
