Treadmill Workout:

  • Warm-up / Steep Hill Climb / 2. 5 mi
  • Easy run / 8 mi / 10:22
  • I ran faster than my prescribed plan pace (10:52). I found a pace that was comfortable and relaxed. I had planned to just complete 8 miles, but my left knee has been bothering me. It seems to require a fair amount of warm-up before I can run. It's odd because it doesn't hurt any other time.

  • I was supposed to run 6 miles, but I ran out of time. It was a rough workout. I felt so slow and weighted down until my 4th mile. By then, I just couldn't run fast enough to finish my mileage. On the plus side, my overall average pace was faster than the prescribed pace of 10:52.
