- My pace was a snail crawl, but I ran the entire mileage. I really, really wanted to throw in the towel the closer I neared home. I could have easily found some short cuts, but I stayed the course!

- The first 3 miles were extremely difficult. I felt dehydrated and worn out from my long run yesterday. Once I hit 3 miles, the struggle vanished. I finished with a solid 3 miles.

- Today was the first time that I have run with people since March 2020. I almost backed out at the last minute, but I'm really glad that I didn't. It was actually fun and relaxing. I liked running without music and without my Garmin constantly telling me that I am running too slow! I enjoyed our conversations. It was good for me to put myself out there again. This Pandemic has changed me in so many ways, some good and some not so good.

I ran with a running group again. In typical fashion I tried to talk myself out of a group run, but upon completion was grateful that I went with them. A friend and I met earlier to warm-up. As I age it takes me longer to settle into my stride. The 6 miles at this faster pace was relatively easy. On my own, I would nt have achieved this pace.
