- This is my longest run in over a year. I detest my pace, but on the positive side I finished each 2 mile recorded pace faster than the previous two. The road to improved fitness is full of hits and misses. I'm no great runner. I'm simply ordinary, but that's not the point. The point is whether I improved over yesterday, last week, last month, and so on. That's what keeps me going, keeps me trying, keeps me moving forward.
