| Am - ran into the desert up to all the trails. I requested to coach we should do sand mountain and make it a loop. That was stupid. It was hell. We were grinding along hardcore at a solid 12 minute pace pushing really hard. I think last time I went it has rained or something, cuz today sucked. But going down the other side was pretty beast. Solid run for the rest, stopped at the fire station for some water. Finished up the 80 mins with a strong push. 9.5 total. My left shin is really tender

| Am - we did a grass run, supposed to be barefoot. But my tibia is so tender, so I kept the shoes on. Still hurt miraculously so I walked over to the rec and rode a stationary bike for 20 mins. I ran 2 miles

| Am - ran on the dirt mile today. Our workout was supposed to be an acceleration each lap. First was 7:20, then to 7:05, 6:56, 6:30 then closed in 6:16. It's just getting us used to finishing faster and to get us ready for tempos. It was easy though and I felt beast. Hardly was breathing hard. Stellar werkin by our team, I love it. 6.8 miles on the day.
Shout out to the Warriors and to Lebron for a good series. 1st two games were the best though, that was good stuff to watch.

| Am - tendinitis in left leg was sore like voldemort yesterday. So hit up the rec for some vicious pool running. I spent 50 minutes in the pool. Dang that was a long time, but I did some good work, threw in some random hard intervals.
After headed to the Boulder mountains for a backpacking trip. 5 miles up at 10000 feet.

| No run. Lots of hiking though, 11 miles at 11000 feet. Big hills were a little tough, ha.

| Am - 3 miles hiking out. Good trip, I'm excited for when our scout troop goes to the Sierra Nevadas next month, it will be fun. It'll be my second time up mt Whitney.
Later 3 miles hiking upper calf creek.
Pm - got home around 3. I wanted to go running right then, but it was 111 so I waited a while till 6:30. Temp outside was still high, 105, but it felt really dope to be honest. I ran past green springs golf course, then down into a creek bed which I ran up for 15mins, then back home. Running in the dried up creek bed was so sick, it was really technical with tons of rocks like a foot big. Really had to stay focused 100 percent. 6 miles total, saw some snakes. Rad. Tendonitis in left leg bugged me after.
