GOING THE DISTANCE

Am -  long run into the desert, we did mustang pass.  Pretty brutal run at least for me.  I got pretty dehydrated Saturday and didn't drink enough yesterday so I was feeling it today.  Going up the north side of the pass was beanboozlingly hard, but I been reading this book running with the Buffaloes and I thought about Chris severy how he wouldn't have gave up so I didn't.  It's actually a way rad book, I recomend it.  Got light headed the last mile and had to stop a few times so I didn't pass out.  I enjoyed it though.

Am -  30 minute grass run.  nothing awesome happened, nothing sad happened.  maybe some humourous stuff happened.  it was just pretty average.  God bless America.

Am -  we ran on the dirt mile.  Sped up the pace a bit on every lap.  Got down to about 6:20 on the last lap.  It was really great.  I like how we are just building a big base and not working much on speed right now.  Got 7.5 miles

Am -  I'm up around fairview for a family reunion.  So me and my dad found some trails to run.  This morning ran up Benny creek trail, which took us up onto Mt. Loafer.  Pretty tough climb; it took us 26 minutes to go 2.2 miles!   We turned at 30 minutes and going back was a lot faster.  Could've hauled down that mountain, but there was a lot of really loose rocks in some spots.  Went 5.2 miles in 50 minutes.

Am -  Ran in the foot hills of the mountains near fairview.  It was me, Alex, and my dad.  Pretty fun time.  At one point, we ran right past a rattlesnake, which rattled at us and got into its attack position.  I jumped and let out some girl sound.  We stopped to check it out for a sec.  The rest of our run was pretty dope too ya know.
