Am -  easy 3.6.  I took it a little slower cause my legs were just dead this morning.  Root beer mile in the afternoon!

Pm -  First race of the season and wow it was full of action.  Preston organized it so that it was during the school fire drill so it was dang packed.  I was hoping to win as I was second returner.  Warmed up like .3 and got to the line.

I had dropped all my root beers so they were very foamy so that sucked.  I used Barq's by the way.  Mitch, Paul, Corbin, Jason, and Paul got out quick and I was just behind.  Second root beer mitch just took over, he was so OP this year.  His opening 809m was 2:46!!!  Including 2 root beers!  He went on to win in 6:39, too legit.  Paul threw up after two laps so he was DQ'd.  Jason and Corbin pulled away from me a bit and finished 2nd and 3rd unofficially.  The last two laps and root beers I didn't have much inspiration cause nobody was close to me, so I just cruised through to a 7:52 and unofficial 4th, a bit slower than last year.

Turns our Jason had thrown up and Corbin had dumped out approximately 5-6 ounces through two of his cans, so they were DQ'd and I officially took 2nd!

After, we went and ran on some cattle trails through Sandbergs desert, charged some cows, and finished up to 4.4 on the afternoon.
