It was the Ragnar Snowcrest Jr. fund raiser today. I signed up a few weeks back to run it solo. With my recent IT band issues.. I thought it might be a good test for the marathon next week. Wanted to just keep a consistant pace over the 1 mile loop. Felt pretty good. Leg got tight off and on but nothing to crazy. Had a gu at mile 7 should'a had more in the tank though was tired toward the end. Nasty head wind for about .6 of the loop... So battled that 15 times. Good turn out - fun. Took 3rd out of the people doing it solo - so that was cool.

Lots of miles for a pre marathon weekend. Studly 3rd place. Congrats. I put up a prayer candle for your knee.

Nice run, especially with an IT band problem. Was that tough running in circles for 15 miles?

Not sure what to do for an IT band, thankfully I've never had that problem.
