Hey- question for you. I'm planning to do Sweet H20, and saw you did it in 09. I haven't been able to find any info on aid stations (especially how often they are) and whether or not I should carry 1 or more bottles, and gu's. What is your recommendation? And, any other advice for that race? Thanks.

jon: sweetH2O is a fun race. the course has changed a bit since 09, but that year, with the exception of the "top of the world" section, the whole course was very runnable and potentially fast. aid was available roughly every 6-ish miles (although i'm wanting to say that there were even a couple shorter sections) all i carried was a single water bottle the whole time (with the potential heat, you'll want to carry at least one), and i didn't carry any food with me, except whatever i grabbed at an aid station, which was typically just a quarter pb&j sandwich, if anything, which i immediately downed.
i had a blast and am tempted to go back; if i think of anything else, i'll let you know...

Thanks for the advice.
