Interesting NYT article today with a focus on your hip doctor. I thought his name looked familiar, so looked back at your blog to double check.

It's good to see you're back out running again.

So do the kids have to run with you to school, with their backpacks bobbing along on their backs?

I love that kind of date.

Russ, interesting read thanks for sharing. I'm just now finally getting to the point in my recovery where I think I am better off than I was before surgery and am quite confident the procedure helped. More time will reveal if I can get back to 100% though. I have also recently found out that my insurance will not cover the surgery but they say its my Dr's responsibility to appeal it and I am not liable to pay the bills since my Dr. assured me it would be covered. I guess time will tell there too.

Carolyn-They like to ride their bikes to school so we just run by them to make sure they're looking both ways before they cross streets and all that good stuff. Occasionally they run too but we carry their packs when they do that. :)
