What a GORGEOUS day!!  I went for my run from FAC after taking Ali to her gymnastics class.  Started around 10:30 a.m. in the 45 degree sunshine.  All the snow and ice has completely melted off the Creek path and I was loving running in shorts again.

Did some good dynamic stretching for a bit, showered, and ate our home lunch with the girls at the tables in the lobby of FAC afterwards.  Saw Colleen and she wished me luck in the Quicker Quaker 5K tomorrow.  I'm really looking forward to racing!  Especially since the forecast looks like another warm sunny day!

That's a good price for a 5k. I think I'll join you.

an oatmeal festival? that is awesome. best of luck in your race tomorrow.

also, don't listen to burt. he always tells me he is coming to run 5k's with me (and promises to bring refreshments), but he has never shown up -- not even once.

What? Trust me. I'm a man of allie's words.

Lily-Thanks!

Burt-See you there. Will you wear your Nacho suit?

Allie-Yes, Oatmeal. How could I NOT do this race? Are you sure Burt doesn't ever show up or is he just stealth? Aaron actually snapped a picture of him at one of my races once. I had to double take, but you tell me if you think this is him...http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/k-HI0XaYteDmK7no6BiZoGseEwE1LYmptxAWLwibr-M?feat=directlink
