I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run
Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.
Personal:
I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.
Married, two kids - Abby and Andy
Late AM: 4.5 eliptical miles, 1 mile row, weights.
AM: 1 mile swim.
Several years.
PM: Took myself to the gym and did 9.25 on the eliptical
Came home and watched Tom Petty's 30th anniversary concert from Gainsville with Ann. The best show ever recorded.
PM: Long day working late at the end of the quarter finishing grades and answering emails from the helicopter/snowplow parents. Got to the gym at 6 pm and did 8 miles on the treadmill.
Achilles hurt despite 600 mg Ibuprofin.
PM: 9.5 treadmill, 1 mile eliptical.
No workout. Walked 8 miles.
Spent much of the day reading the new Woodrow Wilson biography by Christopher Cox. It's groundbreaking!
