I finished reading the Mueller Report today. From it I concluded that President Trump likely would not have been elected without Russian interference in the 2016 election. Also, he's corrupt. Happy to join the 3% of Americans who have actually read it.

It's a very fine narrative as well.

I would be very surprised if it's actually 3%, unless you're talking about only the 4 page summary. I'd guess a lot fewer people.

Okay, but any thoughts on how to educate the masses, especially those who predominately get their news from only one source?

Perhaps frequent 'short' ads on TV and the radio, giving links to Mueller's 18 page executive summary, and encouraging people to read Mueller's summary before making up their mind?

I think any type of 'education' campaign should be kept clean, polite, and as non-partisan as possible, as people don't especially like being told how dumb they are for supporting Trump, and nastiness tends to put people on the defensive. My dad always said you could catch more flies with honey than vinegar!

People need to wake up to the fact that we are at war with Russia, and that our current administration is giving tacit approval to their criminal behavior. Do we really want Russia to have a say in who rules the United States?

Cookielegs, agreed that we don't want Russia, or any other country, to have a say in who rules the US. Do we likewise feel that the US should not be influencing other countries (usually to a FAR greater degree, such as Venezuala right now). If one upsets us, should not the other?

Politics.. Not my favorite subject anymore as it has become so divisive in our country. Got a brand new copy of "Tip and the Gipper" through ebay for a very small amount. Might be worth a read if your interested. I just started:)

Hi Jon, fair question. Venezuela is in a tough spot right now, lots of oil money for years, but not a lot of foresight to develop other resources/markets. Not sure what to do there. I generally favor helping other countries to an extent (ie, butting in), for humanitarian reasons, but don't feel we should do so mainly to protect oil interests, or other monetary interests, such as boosting our military industrial complex. I feel we can make a more lasting effect by offering education in economics, agriculture, managing resources, etc. (eg., Peace Corps), and/or by helping medically (eg., Docs w/o Borders, etc.)

I do apologize for the political overtones in my post, I've just been feeling hammered by my brother and sister lately, for diverging from their political leanings. And, I actually tried to edit my original post to delete the last two paragraphs because on reflection they seemed pretty shrill, but for some reason I wasn't able to do so. Sorry!
