Not really sure what I was doing out there today. Ate the F up to use an old Army term.

Started out wanting to do a 5k time trial. Came through the mile in 5:45 but aborted after 6 laps. Ran with Abby the rest of the way. Aimlessly wandered a few miles after that with no real purpose other than to log some miles.

Sub-par past couple days with regards to running.

On the plus side, Mike Trout hit two home runs for the Angels last night to pull into a tie with teammate Albert Pujols for the AL lead going into the all-star break.

Who cares about the bloody Angels? All that matters is that Paul Goldsmchidt is leading the NL in batting average.

Hmmm ... Sounds like you had a bit of a soup sandwich on your hands! (In honor of military slang.)

On second thought though, bravo zulu on that 5:45 mile!!! 👏🏼

I didnt realize that was an "ate the F up" kind of run. I would give it a B.

If you hadn't run that first mile 3 seconds too fast, you would have had it. I am sure Fritz is to blame. Abby did well.

Rob, I think you missed thanking the Rays for blanking the Astros tonight. After playing over their heads for most of the first half, the last two weeks have been brutal on us.

That's right! If the Angels win tonight, they'll have a half game lead over the Astros.

Thank you Rays.

I can't start paying attention to baseball until they have played 130 games. Of course I am to blame. I was on the same track.
