Had a couple interesting discussions today about teachers who are faring poorly teaching in the Covid era. The bottom line, it seems to me, is that some people need to learn how to set boundaries, have an off switch. It's true that some students and parents view remote learning as a 24/7 proposition, but that has to be nipped in the bud!

I and many other "work-from-home" professionals are fighting the same issue. Too easy to login one more time in the evening when the computer is 2 feet from my bed.

Have you seen the Atlantic article on how schools are not serving as covid super-spreaders (info is available other places, too). I'd be curious what you and other teachers discuss about things like this.

Based on the experience of my kids at college and the infection rate in our city, schools are acting as super spreaders.

I have seen it but haven't read it Jon. Doesn't surprise me though. Kids have strong immune systems, are less likely to be compromised, and (here at least) mask wearing is strictly enforced.

There's definitely some areas where they are strict on mask wearing in schools, others with no mask. It's a real life science experiment.
