AM: Grandeur peak up-down.

The school board voted to open school pretty much as normal in a few weeks. Going to seem strange to be confined to a windowless room with 35 teenagers at a time.

My school district has 3 options. The school board votes next week. I teach in a Title 1 school. My class enrollment is sitting at 26 first graders. Stay safe!

You too. We will have to compare notes.

No windows? I hope your room has good ventilation and air circulation, otherwise you might need to keep your classroom door open and bring a room fan to create a good flow of air.

Eva, if you're concerned about spreading sickness, wouldn't you want to reduce airflow in the room?

Rob- just wondering, is your district doing social distancing, or having students or teachers wear masks or other measures?

All students and teachers in Utah are required to wear masks Jon. Social distancing not possible.

No final plans yet in SC, but they are saying they will do social distancing by only having 1/4 or 1/2 the students in class each day, with some days at school and some at home. Although they admit they have no idea how to socially distance on busses.

I wish they'd give parents an option to sign a waiver for their kid to go regular school with no restrictions. Many would take it.
