9.5 on the treadmill this morning. Started at 8 mph and worked up to 9.1 at the end.

HUGE event in our neighborhood! A new Chick-fil-A opened and so Abby and I went there for breakfast after I ran. Had me a chicken biscuit and a cup of coffee. Pretty good coffee. Then came home, grabbed the chuck-it and exercised the dog for a while at the park.

Cold, blustery day here in Salt Lake.

You chose Chick-Fil-A over an elite 5K race that was taking place in your neighborhood at the same time?

Probably a good call :-) Andrea is jealous!

How have you become an elite masters runner with this kind of attitude, skipping our 5k for Chick-fil-a?

I'm avoiding racing or anything that might be called hard running. Plus it was cold out. I'm up to 265 pounds.

I understand. Rob purposely goes to the gym on the days I don't. I would love to see a 265 pound guy run 9.5 miles at a 9 mph pace. Are you going for the double clydesdale world record?
