I took the whole day off for the state meet today. Usually I'm so hyped up and jittery that I end up showing a film in class anyway so I thought I'd let the sub handle the difficult task of pressing "play" on the DVD player. Should be a barn-burner, three of the top six teams in the U.S. on Dyestat from Utah. Six I think in the top thirty.

Walked Andy to school. Drove Abby to school. Went for a nice run around the neighborhood. 8.25 miles in 1:04. I love running.

Bittersweet state meet today since it will be my last one. We Murphys are moving at the end of this school year to a whole other state (Forrest Gump reference). There are so many people I will miss and I'll miss the awesomeness of this great state. I'm almost certain Ann and I will move back for at least part of the year when we retire. Old people can ski practically free. Lots of work to do now getting the house ready to sell, packing, getting new jobs, etc. Exciting though.

The team this year has been one of the most rewarding to coach. I'll write more about them this evening after the meet no matter how they do. Heading over now to watch the races.

Our run of perfect state meet weather continues...

$300,000 "as is".

It has 5 bedrooms. Might be a little big for you.

Perfect if "as is" includes Summit and the kids :)

Do you know where you are going?

I saw you leave a comment on Mr. Bret's blog about moving a while back, but I didn't know how serious that was.

Oh any by the time you come back, Vail Resorts will own half the state and you can buy an EPIC SENIOR pass that will get you unlimited skiing and $17 hot chocolates.

Likely back to SC Jake but I'm putting out lots of feelers and if something better comes up, I'll consider it.

Hope all goes well, Rob. Coaching is very rewarding, especially when you the cosmos hands you one of those groups of kids.

PS Thanks for correcting me on the Davis comment during the meet. That's what I get for butting in on a conversation.
