Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

Almost all the good distance runners come from Kenya, Ethiopia, America, UK, and a smattering of others (Morocco, etc). Imagine if you could get the entire Indian and Chinese population to start competing- that would make it exciting.

The US team is as strong as anyone in the middle distances... Jenny, Nick... I wouldn't be surprised to see Centro win a medal and we could take 2 in the W800. 6-8-10 in the M5000, and 6-7 in the W5000 w/ Molly and Shannon. Not too shabby!
Jon - I don't know if we want to re-visit the times when China took distance running seriously :-) ... they (women's team) broke every world record in about a week's span in 1993, the most drugged-up track team in the history of the sport.
