This afternoon I did my once patented (meaning I used to do it all the time) treadmill fartlek, It's basically 2 minutes at 7mph, 2 minutes at 8 mph, 2 minutes at 9 mph, and 4 minutes at 10 mph. Repeat six times. So, a total of 24 minutes at 6 minute pace or faster.

9 miles for the 60 minute fartlek plus warm-up and cool-down. 11.25 total

1.5 on the treadmill incline.

I'm detecting less life on this blog than in years past. I wonder what happened?

High school track is over, the kids have stopped chatting as much here on the blog!

I love it when my gut feelings conform with actual data. It confirms by belief that I don't pay attention to data.

It's been a steady decline since high school track ended... in 2012 :-)

If there was a way to track engagement (comment volume) I'm sure that would show an even steeper downslide. Hopefully it means people are outside doing stuff and perhaps even more productive at their jobs! (and on that note, signing off...)

When I borrow this workout I will be sure to give proper credit.
