The new Foo Fighters album (that's right, I still say album) is really good. Also, The Smithereens have a new one out as well which sounds exactly like The Smithereens in the 80s so that's a good thing. Of course The Cars also have their first new album out in 20 something years but I've only listened to samples on I Tunes. I'll probably get it though since they were a staple of every single party I ever went to in college. I'm always hoping for a Replacements reunion but that will probably never happen.

Taper week so not much running to report on. Might ramble on about other topics.

I wish I could be in Ogden just for the atmosphere. Good luck, your going to crush it.

Foo Fighters are playing Little Rock this weekend, though unfortunately, I will not be able to make it. I actually saw them in concert my senior year of high school (2000-2001) when they were touring with the Chili Peppers. They were actually opening, but Dave Grohl came out and drummed with the Chile Peppers during the encore and assisted Flea with destroying a couple of guitars. It was great show...

Good luck this weekend. Sounds like your ready to roll.

Yeah Wesley, I was actually on their website yesterday checking out tour dates and noticed they were in Little Rock. Missoula Montana is the closest they get to Salt Lake!

U2 is coming here next week though but I will not be taking out a second mortgage to go see them.

Thanks Rob. Only my second time running Ogden but I'm feeling pretty good. I'm sure we'll bump into each other someplace soon.

Pray for a cloudy day, I remember the hill at mile 17 being really hot since the sun starts coming up shining on that side of the mountain.

At the rate I'm going a shuffleboard match may be the next place you see me, I can't foresee any races anytime soon.

Rob - I have heard good things about the Smithereens album as well as the Foo Fighters - The latter said they recorded it analog or something equivalent with a lot less production values to make the sound more "real." I will have to pick up.

Use the music to pump you up for a great race this weekend.
