I redeemed myself for yesterday's failure. This is a crazy week as it's the last week of the semester and it's hard to squeeze a decent run in. That may be a good thing though since I'm racing this Saturday and it might keep me from over doing it.

11 miles on the treadmill.

2.25 mile warm-up

3 miles in 17:58

2 miles in 11:30

1 mile in 5:29

1/4 mile in 1:15

Half mile jog interval between each.

Mile cool down.

 Good workout.

Also, congratulations to my buddy Steve Anderson from this here blog for being nationally ranked in the 40-44 age group in the new Running Times!

Nice workout Rob. The old 3-2-1 is a good one.

I guess I need to go get the mail now and see if Running Times is here.

It's the annual geezer issue. You probably won't be interested. Nice article on Jenny Simpson though...

I like the old geezer articles. My philosophy is that is folks are still competing and running fast after 40 years, they are doing SOMETHING right, so there are nuggets of wisdom in there that are always useful.
