First real winter run of the season. I measured 8 inches of snow on top of my car this morning. We had a busy morning in church with the kiddos singing in both services so I didn't get going on my run until after noon. Ran 11.5 through Sugarhouse and had to endure some heavy eye-stinging pellet snow and high winds. Actually sort of enjoyed it.

A Deseret News photographer took my picture running  in the park and then flagged me down to ask me my name. So If you see a crazy man in the paper running through a blizzard - that's me.

Thanks Allie. Your race yesterday sounds a lot like the West Jordan High cross country course.

Photo number 2 in this gallery (click the small gallery button under the photo on the left) is a crazy guy running in orange during a blizzard...

I guess it was a good week to leave! Ran this morning in sunny, warm weather. Not looking forward to the drive home on Friday!

Stay warm in the snow and cold coming this week.
