8.25 mile treadmill run in 62 minutes. Chilly and heavy rain this morning and I just didn't feel like going outside.

1 mile on the ellipticle afterwards. Just burning calories. I know that I should weigh in the 140-142 range to race my best instead of 146-148 where I am now.I need to drop a few puunds before my next race - the Gary Bjorklund Half Marathon in Minnesota in three week. I'm running the Heart of Holladay 5k in two weeks but mostly for the training value.

Hmmm ... interesting since as I walked away from chatting with you Saturday before the race the thought went through my mind, "I can't believe how lean all the elite runners look (meaning you)." It was probably the only time in the past several years that I thought that I needed to work on getting a little leaner. Seriously!

Can't wait to see how your upcoming races go. :)

Snow at the top of City Creek today. You missed out.

Nice run! I'm not running that 5k this year, taking a break from the short races for a bit. You better be kicking some butt there.

What? A race I don't get my butt kicked by Steve Anderson? I don't know how I'll handle that.
