Worked out with my varsity girls today. We warmed up for almost 2 miles with 4x100m striders. We did 5x1000m with 200m recoveries. We averaged just under 6 min pace for the whole 5000. Felt kind of easy today for me, I think that means I am finally getting in shape? The wind was blowing in pretty good from the south, but the weather was warm. The girls did awesome to stay with me every time. Mile cool down at the end. Averaged 7:35 pace for the 6.5 miles. |
