Watched my kids run the 1600 at State and then left on a run.  Greg came with me for the first half.  We ran down Canyon Road and onto University and took the trail to the canyon.  Greg came up about a mile and turned around.  I kept going up to Vivian.  It started to rain on the way up and I got soaked!  The wind was whipping pretty good up the canyon on my way back, so it sucked to run into, but it dried me out.  I made it out of the canyon and back to BYU the same way I came.  I got back right as it started to rain, good thing because it rained hard for a couple of hours.  I am still a little sick with a bit of a sore throat, but I still ran ok.  7:11 pace for the run.

Geeze your getting better with each week. I'm excited to see how you do in June. Maybe a sub 2:40?

Oh I see that's your goal, well I agree:)

We'll see, sub 2:40 would have to be a great day. Low 2:40s is very realistic. I am getting stronger, but have no speed yet. I should do alright though.

How are you doing?

Are you doing any tempos? You have time to fit a couple in still. I really think you'll do well if everything goes as planned. You've made a lot of improvements since even your half in March. I see you got in to St George. That will be really exciting to see what you can do. I see no reason why you can't challenge your standing PR then. Seriously.

Things are at a serious stand still. No clear answers yet. I'm a wuss!
