Stay fit and healthy. Run a decent Boston and St. George marathon.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep fit and stay semi-competitive as long as I can.
Personal:
I have a wonderful wife and son and we live in Riverton/Herriman Utah. I am a high school teacher, and head coach for cross country and track at Mountain Ridge High.
No run today, I will probably run a few easy miles tomorrow though.

I think I will take your advise and go to Tuscon for my next shot at qualifying. I really think that you need to consider being coached by Paul Pilkington you could make trials next time. Great job with your 2:33, we are jealous that Bear River has you coaching their boys.
Alydia- It took me a minute to realize that you are Jacob's mom. Good luck to you in your trials shooting, and good luck to Ogden boys at State. Thanks for the nice comments. As for being coached, I think I will probably stay on my own for now. I know that Paul Pilkington knows what he is doing but I get good tips from friends and others. My friends Paul Petersen and Logan Fielding made the trials this year and seem to know what works too.
Jon- Not tomorrow. I am heading down to see my family this weekend, maybe next week though.

Thank you James for your kind words.
They are much appreciated. I am just
wondering who made comments on this
website using my name. I remember having
a nice conversation with you at the
region meet in Salt Lake at the Cottonwood Complex about your fantastic St. George Marathon time and
What's going on with these weird comments on my blog from people I don't know? If Alydia Barton really found my blog I would like to know how? Because I never told anyone how to get here. And if Alydia Barton (who I kind of recall meeting once at a cross country meet) didn't leave those comments than I don't know who did. How in the world you found this particular day I will never know either. I don't recall ever giving advise about anyone running Tuscon either.
Sasha, do you have a way of tracking where comments came from?
