Easy morning run down to the Temple and back via Boullevard.  I got hammered from yesterday's runs and I am feeling pretty sluggish today.  I did start to loosen up a bit toward the end.

 24:22

I taught Ultimate Frisbee to my Physical Education class today and played with them for about 30 minutes.  That loosened me up a bit more.

PM run with Paul.  We met at Paul's office and ran through the Island  and upto Logan Canyon.  We got on a trail that Paul called the "pipeline trail" (for obvious reasons).  I had no idea that there was a trail right there.  We climbed up the hill and went though an old mining tunnel, where we had to duck for about 100 yards.  We then ran on top of the pipe for another 100 yards, it was fun and I felt like I was in a movie running across the top of a train.  The trail met up with the canyon road just below 2nd dam.  We took the trail and canal trail back.  Fun run.  I like to go on new runs and I enjoyed the visiting.  I was pretty tight at first but loosed up as the run went on.  Hopefully I feel decent tomorrow for our long run.

See, frisbee after running is great. Are you going to come play with us sometime?

From James on Fri, Apr 20, 2007 at 17:49:53

Yeah, I just don't want to do it right after an 18 miler! When are you playing now days?

That pipeline trail is great. Two summers ago Paul and I created a Logan Canyon loop with it. Start at Second Dam, go up through Guineva and cross the highway. Run up the wind caves trail, then go past the wind cave to the saddle (don't bushwhack, there actually is a trail -- we found out the hard way). Then get on the trail (I forget the name) that drops into Green Canyon. Come out of Green, get on Bonneville Shoreline and go south back to the golf course. Then take the pipeline back up to Second Dam. It's a bear, but a good run.

Paul was telling me about that loop and it sounds fun. We were talking about how those types of runs will be our long runs this summer.

You guys are going to have to show my pipeline this week- I have never run it.

What about Wednesday evening?
