I didn't run with my track kids because I had them doing intervals today and I am not ready for anything close to that yet.  I went out this evening when I got home instead.  It was beautiful other than a fairly strong south wind.  I did the Loan Peak Alpine loop and felt pretty crappy and sluggish the whole way.  I had my cough come back a little today and I hacked a lot during my run, which made me tighten up even more.  I feel like I have totally lost any rhythm that I had in the last couple of weeks.  Hopefully I can come back quickly and feel good again in a week or so.  I would really like to be able to start running some workouts with my kids in the next two weeks.  57:31 (7:12 ave.)

James, You may have mentioned this in a previous post but have you seen a doctor for this. How many weeks has it been now?

From James on Wed, Mar 19, 2008 at 21:19:24

It has been a month, President's day. I see one before Del Sol and they said it was a bacterial infection and prescribed antibiotics. I was supposed to take them for a week and get rid of it but nothing seemed to work. I am getting much better now, but still have the remaining congestion and cough.

I'm glad it is moving in the right direction. I just hope you are healthy soon in time for the spring marathon season.

Yeah me too. I am waiting to see how things go in the next month or so before I commit to any kind of marathon. I don't want hit someone up for a comp and not be able to deliver the goods.

I hear ya on the rhythm thing. I think the change in temp and daylight savings has had something to do with it. Get better!
