AM: 10.5 miles
PM: 8.3 miles with John, Jeremy, & Steve. 3 fast- 12x400 with 200 jog recoveries and 400 recoveries between each set of 4. The workout went fine, although I was a bit annoyed that my group wanted an extended rest after the eigth interval. I know they wanted the break- as I was leading every interval throughout- but I really feel that it hinders our progression when we do that, particularly on the short intervals. I should have taken charge. I'd rather be super tired/uncomfortable and focusing on maintaining my form than feeling more comfortable and a second or two faster.
Then again- what do I know, I've never had a coach, so maybe my thought process is wrong.
