Got up to run the Turkey trot at the hospital, I have participated in this race for a number of year. So I was certain that the start time was 8am. I got there to find out that the race did not start until 9:10??? I think they change then time this year, because I don't remember it being that late before. With that tidbit of information I realized that I would not be able to participate. Between the run and the drive time I would be too late to get the turkey and everything going before out eat time at 2:00. So I donated my food and left. I ended up running my normal parkway loop with a bit added around the city park to see the decorations. All in all a pretty pleasant run except for the lady too busy on her cell phone to control Kujo from wanting my leg for breakfast. I was probably the most scared I have been around a dog in a long while. She did not seem to concerned at all.

I'm glad you were able to run even though the race didn't work out.

You should have given that cell-phone-talking-dog-owner a piece of your mind.

Nice run, despite the mix up. I think my 5K did the same thing this year, because I remember it being earlier as well!

Glad you got away from Kujo. Next time carry and use mace on him...THAT will make the owner care :)

Glad you got your run done despite the mix-up in race start time. NICE RUN! BAD DOG and stinkin' dog owner! :)
