My plan tonight was slow and easy. I ran down the parkway, but there is still water under Wall Ave. I didn't feel like running with wet feet again so I turned around and ran up... It was a nice run I only did the funny snake dance once (saw a snake right at my feet, thought it was a stick until it moved) As I was coming back down the parkway my pace was probably too fast for my easy run, I think I should have been a bit slower, I guess will see how it effects my runs for this week.

I love knowing where you are talking about for your runs now :) ...and boy do I know the snake dance. I have a snake song too. It sounds a lot like the screaming/screeching/crying ;)

LOL Marion I'm glad I'm not the only one doing a crazy snake dance. I was glad no one was around me when I was doing it!

Wait, wait, wait. How often do you see snakes?

From marion on Tue, Jun 23, 2009 at 13:36:56 from 71.213.113.143

We see them everywhere ;) It is how we run so fast!

Oh, I know the type. Just don't let them take any blades of grass off you.

Burt you are crazy... when I run the parkway they are just the non dangerous water kind, but I have seen rattle snakes when I run on the trails.

From marion on Tue, Jun 23, 2009 at 15:18:56 from 71.213.113.143

Actually I only see the squished kind, mostly :p I still scream and dance. I really HATE snakes!!!

I have a road here in Herriman that I call snake rd because my running partner almost stepped on the snake until I pushed him off the road! :) Glad you had a good run and you didn't hurt yourself while doing the snake dance...that's what I'm always afraid of!
