Short-Term Running Goals:

It's been a challenging year so far since Boston 2011.  When I got home from Boston my world changed when I found out I had some pretty severe food allergies. Since being tested I have been focused on building my health back up which has been a long slow process. What a difference it's made and I feel extremely blessed. For years I knew something was wrong and it's amazing to finally know that food can actually be a persons medicine to live a healthy life. 

Long-Term Running Goals:

I'm hoping to start building more miles when I can and be injury free.  Maybe one of these days I'll be fast. Just for now I'm just very happy to be running.

Personal:

Happily married to Marlin Ordway. We've got 4 grown children between the two of us.  It's been fun watching them go through life - making mistakes and picking themselves back up.  I love seeming them happy and succeeding.

It was a hectic weekend. Had a baby shower for a supervisor at work.  Been a long time since I've been to one.  Pretty fun.  Went to church Sat night and then again Sunday.  Had a great day watching the Super Bowl over at my parents house.  

Good to be back at the gym today.  Ran 8 miles in Zone 2 and then did some weights.  Trying to work on getting some upper body strenght.

Ran at the gym today on the TM.   Felt great that I kept it around Zone 1 & 2 for majority of run.  Just towards the end I got into the higher half of Zone 2.   Was glad I took the time to get 15 miles in.  After working out my daughter and I went to a movie 'The Kings Speech'.  Felt great to relax afterwords.  I really liked the movie!
