7 miles this morning at 5 am, sluggish run this morning, i think i get into this slow sluggish run and it make it to be a harder run than if i was to hold a marathon pace.

Much better run this afternoon, 4 mile run at a 9:00 min. mile felt much better .

5 am !!! Have you been talking to Jeff?? I am happy if I can roll over that early. Way to make it happen.

But you need recovery runs, not everything can be at MP or you will burnout and/or get injured. Part of the sluggishness is the early time of day and perhaps the inproper eating...you MUST eat a good breakfast to refuel the muscles especially if you are running early morning. Recovery runs will make your quality runs that much more productive.
