10.05 miles in 1:30, 45 min at an easy 9:13 pace (136), 40 min at MP 8:41 (142), with a 0.05% incline for the whole run. I am thinking of changing my MP to 8:35 or 8:30 pace as my HR indicates that i am able to just alittle, looking for a 145 or 146  HR.  300 setups also

Marlin, I definitely think you could push marathon pace a bit based on HR. If it feels to hard but your HR stays low I would suggest some strength excersises, jump rope, uphill sprints, skipping, are all good excersises to get your legs stronger and used to higher speeds.

Plyometric excersises helped me get faster a lot.

Thanks Rob, what would be a good HR for a marathon?

There is a lot more to it than HR. Use it more of an indicator of your improvement over time. I try to keep mine at 170ish for that effort but it will creep up as you go. If I went above 185 I would probably get worried.

I'm 37, so subtract 1beat per year older than that.
