Drop a few lbs. Long-Term Running Goals: I have long-term biking goals. Running is completely out of the question with the Meniscus in my knee. Personal: I'm in the 60-64 Age Group.....Yikes!

| It was in the low 40's with a cold wind from the South but otherwise pretty nice this morning. I ran 13.14 very steady miles and finished with a nice kick the last 3. My timing was good too, it started raining pretty hard only 10 minutes after I got home. |

| I did the early morning BodyPump class for an hour and increased the weights for several of the sections. I will feel that tomorrow. Then I ran 10.00 on the TM nice and steady. |

| I ran 0.50 mile before BodyPump classs. Did class for 1 hour, then ran another 10.00 miles on the TM. I actually found a TM that did not stop at 60 minutes and go to cool-down mode. I was able to blast thru the entire 10 without any interruptions...YAY! |

| The wind was really nasty this morning and it was supposed to snow so I decided to do my longer run indoors this Saturday. I found my "magic" treadmill and ran the whole 16 miles without it interrupting me. I did the last mile in 6:30 and felt great. |

| It was really icy outside so I opted to do my long run inside. I got to the gym really early, as in I was the 3rd person there. I ran 20.00 miles on the TM with no breaks and just plowed through it. Glad to be done. |

I got to Gold's at 5:15 to get ready for my Body Pump class. The instructor was there a minute or 2 later. Problem was, they could not find a key for the workout room anywhere. Get this......a multi-million dollar facility only has 1 key for their workout room and somebody took it home last night. I asked the front desk guy and he said it has been that way for a year. REALLY??? You can't copy a key in a year? We finally got started 15 minutes late so I was behind for the morning. I did Body Pump for 1 hour and then ran 10.00 on the TM. Despite my rant....I absolutely LOVE this facility, I just think it's crazy to have a situation like that. It's the small details that make the difference between Success and Mediocrity.

| It was 30 degrees and snowing this morning. There was a fresh 3-4 inches on my sidewalks. I put on my Santa hat and 3 sets of battery powered Christmas lights and ran the 1.5 miles to Perkins to meet up with a bunch of other runners for a Christmas Eve run. The group run began at 7:00am. There were 34 of us running the neighborhoods. We stopped a couple times to sing carols to people....it was great. I did, however, learn a powerful lesson this morning. NEVER, and I mean NEVER, give Lowell Hawkes the code to your garage door. During our run he suggested we go to Terry Jensen's house to sing. Well, unbeknownst to us, Terry is out of town and his daughters family is living in the house while their new one is being built. We actually snuck in, went downstairs, and WOKE THEM UP to sing Christmas carols to them. Thank goodness I know them or I would have felt even MORE Awkward than I did. Luckily Seth and Tara are good sports. But Tara did vow to get even with us. We went to a couple more places and the run ended up back at Perkins. Most of the runners stayed for breakfast but Kory, Barry Ames, and I ran another 5 miles to get the mileage over 10 for the day. Kory and Barry probably got 12-13 by the time they got home. I ran 10.20 very fun miles with great company this morning. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

| It was NASTY out this morning. I followed the Snow Plow to the gym. I did 1 hour of the Body Pump class then ran 10.00 on the TM. Time to shovel the driveway....again. |

| My lower back has been bothering me and all the snow shoveling I did over the weekend did not help it. When I jumped on the TM this morning it was not a good feeling. I decided to just do an hour of weights and then did 2 easy miles. |
