Made a commitment to myself today that I will train for and run a local 10k on Nov 10. My goal is 52 minutes which would be a PR for me. As far out of shape as I am, this will be quite a stretch, but I'm going to give it a shot.

Today I ran for 30 min on the TM. I had to alternate 2 min runs with 3 min walks Jeff Galloway style. But at least I got up and going. It's time. It's been way too long. I'm excited to be back.

THanks Dale.. IT feels good to be back. I have lot a lot of fitness and gained a lot of weight. But I'm back on track and will train consistently so I can clock a 52:00 in the 10k which will be a PR.
