I keep forgetting to blog my miles. It's hard when my sister's visiting. I watched my son run his first XC meet yesterday. I had to drag him, and he wasn't that happy about it. But he ran a solid race, made a fine effort and looked strong when he finished. I was so proud when I saw him pass the finish I thought my heart would burst. I ran over to hug him and he said 1: I'm about to hurl (good boy) and 2: I can't believe I didn't suck the worst! So rewarding to see him building well deserved self-confidence. |
