Today's run was pretty fun!  I ran with Nicole and we kinda went our own pace, like in the middle of the girls.  It was awesome!  It felt pretty good!  I also signed up for the half marathon, which should be fun. :)

2 1000's!  Had a nice group!  My times were 4:24, and 4:25.  So had good times too!

4 miles on a trail run.  It was fun!  We tried to beat the boys back, but that didn't work!  Nicole said that we ran 4.3 cuz we ran through the tunnel and stuff. Nice group again!

Oh my goodness.  I can't believe that we are gonna have to harder than this, cuz this was pretty tough!  We kept a solid group through out the whole run!  We tried to keep a 7 min pace for the tempo, we did that great!  But yeah, not really looking forward to the other tempos.

Well, I don't think I proved anything for this Kosmin Test.... I first started out late, so everyone got in front of me, that didn't help with my positivity.  Then I had awful form, I just need to learn how to run on my toes!  I feel so bad.... I wish I could've atleast been up with Ali.  Ugh... I'm so bugged.  I think the lack of sleep is catching up to me.  Oh! And I need to work on my breathing, that's going all crazy on me again!  I got 1184 or something.  Whatever, I'll do better next time!

Met up with some of the girls at the high school at 7.  We went Green Springs, took it easy before the tempo.  It was nice. :)  Then I remembered that I didn't tell anyone I left to go run, so it kinda made me panic and I picked up the pace a little.  We started our tempo right before the 5 mile turn around coming back from the park, so we started with a little up hill.  But we were able to keep our pace for the whole time!  It was tough, but the down hill helped us keep our pace.  When we got back we streched a little, and I figured out my mom wasn't up yet, so I was all good. :)  Nice run!

Did some 1000's!  I felt pretty good!  It got a little tougher, but I did pretty good.  My times were 4:03, 4:05, and 4:03.  So pretty consistent!  The last one I kinda fell away from the group and I timed them too.  So at the end when they were all ending, I slowed down so I could see their times, then I couldn't even remember them!! Whatever, overall good workout. :)

AM- Started morning runs! Easy 3. Did some yoga, felt good.

PM- Trail run!!  I felt great on the way back, but they way there was something else.  The downhill was beautiful...  I kinda landed on my foot weird, then my ankle began hurting, but I think my body is finally getting used to me being spazzy, cuz the pain doesn't last as long!  What I figured out from today, I have some amazing driving skills!! :)

Oh man, I was not looking forward to this run at all. I though I was gonna die, cuz the tempo was faster and farther!  But!! Coach made it better, cuz he kept our minds off the pain of running, by telling us embarrasing stories of the boys!!  Haha, just kidding, we just talked about how awesome we are.  But it still helped! I actually felt way good!  And the run as a whole (tempo and all) went by way fast!!  We took a little break at the running store, then finished the run off with boys.  Fun!  Did weights and stuff.

Did a nice hill workout!  Some old man 800's.  I didn't do my best the first hill, but the second I just thought of it as a tempo and not a hill workout, and I went faster!!  I was leading the girls almost the whole way!  Then coach came up and helped Ali catch up to me, and when she did, I kinda backed off, but then coach helped me too!  And we finished hard! We're awesome, no big deal. :)  I went back with Ali and we stretched a little. Good run!

We did some 1000's.  I don't know, I just wasn't feeling it today.. I felt exhausted on every one. :/  My times were 4:18,4:18, 4;14, and 4:12. So my slower times. But I got faster each one! So that's good!  I just wasn't focused on what I was doing.  And I focused on the pain, or just looking at my time the whole 1000.  But live and learn.  I'll do better next week!

PM- Nice little trail with a hill that defied gravity.  But other than that hill and the beach sand, it was amazing!

I felt gross before the tempo, but when we started, I felt so good!  I actually stayed up with Nicole and Mia for more than I did last week!  I felt way better than last week!  My pace was about 6:50, last week was like 6:54. So I improved!  I was able to speed up for the last minute, that suprised me, cuz I usually die at that time!!  But yeah, it was good!  We also saw the most adorable puppies!! Cute little poodle, chihuaha, pomeranian puppies!! Uh what the?! They were so cute!  Made the whole run worth while. :)

AM- easy 3. Had a nice discussion about our book!

PM- Felt pretty good. My legs just feel exhausted and sluggish today.  But I stretched so it's ok!  It wasn't my best hill workout, but I still ran hard!  I always do so good starting out, then I let my mind get the best of me and I back off and let the other girls catch me and pass me.  I just wish I had the same mental strength as Mia and Ali.  I will work on that!  Glad it wasn't two 800's today, I just feel like I can run so much faster when we do 400's.  Weights were pretty good!

Easy 3! We ran to Sanbergs, just a little tired from the week.  We were all able to run together though!  I was able to finish with Macey, that was pretty cool!  Striders were alright.

Well, we wanted to have a big group this morning.  I guess if you count 2 people as a big group, we did it!  It was just Mia and me.  But it was fun to run with her!  We ran down to the river trail.  And saw the boy team!  I wasn't able to hit my pace, but I'm glad I ran!

PM- Did some1000's!  I felt way better than last week! I was able to keep up with Mia and Ali! And I got way faster than my goal time!  My goal time was 4:05 and I got 4:04, 4:03, 3:57, 3:53! It was awesome!  Weights were fun too!

AM- easy 3 with some yoga!

PM- Did a trail run, kinda felt adventurous and ran down a sand hill jumped the grand canyon, and jumped over mount everest!!  Just kidding!  It was only a little grand canyon and some rocks. :) I about killed my ankle 500 times!!  But I felt pretty good!  My body felt ready to go for the most part, my brain was exhausted though.  I think I might be getting sick. :/  As long as I don't get laryngitis, I'm good!!

AM- Well, I would've came... but I just had too much stuff going on, and I felt kinda gross/sick. Sorry, coach.

PM- Did some tempo!!  It didn't feel as hard as last weeks! I think it was because last week was hotter, and today was a tad bit cooler.  And I was able to keep mentally strong through the first lap! I actually kept up with Mia and Coach!!  I about passed out after the first lap, cuz my breathing was all out of whack..  I need to work on relaxing and just going with it.  But when coach said 4 min left, I did what he said and made little goals to finish up the tempo, and it worked!  Felt pretty good, but sore after!

AM- Easy 3! And a fantastic conversation about Elite Minds!! Awesome.

PM- Did some old man hills!  I feel like I paced myself better today, but I wasn't up in the front either.  It's just every time I start with hills, I go way to fast and die out like with 100 meters left. So today, I just tried a steady strong pace, and it felt pretty good!  Now I just need to be up by Mia and Ali, and then all would be good. :) Did some weights!! Super fun!

I felt pretty exhausted from the week!  But I guess that's something my body is gonna have to get used to! It's only going to get tougher.  But atleast it was just mileage today! Not just mileage, but an easy 3! With some striders.

Oh man... I was so tired today, and my legs were tight!  I tried so hard to keep up with the other girls, but I couldn't!  I kept up with them after the tempo.  We ran to Green Springs today!  During the tempo, I felt like I was going pretty fast! But I was so behind Mia, Ali, and Nicole.  I don't know what happened!  My pace was prolly a 6:40 pace ish, I'm just basing it off of the other girls' times.  I decided not to stress about it, and just went with it.  I'm glad I was able to run the last mile with them!!  OH!! And I got new shoes right after! It's weird to actually feel support in running shoes.  Maybe I should get new ones more often so I won't feel that much of a difference..  But yeah, it's awesome!

PM- Trail!  I felt alright for the first 2 miles, but when coach said the best part was the really good view, and we only had to add about a mile to go see it, Mia, Carli and I decided to join him! But that's when I really started to feel it. I fell super behind!!  But we made it!  And made it back to our cars, safe and sound!

AM- easy 3.  Waffle Wednesday! pretty awesome.

PM- oh man... 24 minutes?!  I thought I was gonna die, considering the fact I just ate chicken stir fry in my last period for foods class and I couldn't even keep up on the warm up!  But I was I able to keep up with Mia and Coach for most of it!  I just focused on my breathing, and tried to relax.  It worked for most of it!  Then my breathing went all crazy, and I backed off.  I was able to finish it, and got a 6:45 pace!  So that's pretty much faster than when I ran 18 minute tempo 2 weeks ago!  Last week I was a little faster, but I had more time this week, so it was pretty much the same.  Felt good after! Except for my stomach ache.  Glad I was able to finish the run!!  Thanks coach!

AM- I was so tired this morning! But glad I got myself out there! We had a nice little discussion about the book in the counceling.  I actually read!!

PM- My legs just didn't want to move.  They felt so stiff!  And plus it was kind of freezing!  I'm glad Coach was there to help out the girls.  I feel like I would've just backed off if he wasn't there!  I was able to keep on running up the hills! My breathing got so awful during each one.  So it got me light headed.  I wish I knew how to relax.  Did some weights after!

Ali and I got a lot girls out! We got a total of 7 girls!!  We had to kidnap Alli, and we were successful!  We ran to green springs.  My legs were tired and tight!  The tempo was pretty good! The fastest I've done it I think!  So that's good.

AM- Easy 3.

PM- Well, it wasn't my best with 1000's today, but my times were pretty consistent! That's always good!  My goal time was 3:52.  I hit 4:00, 4:06, 4:02, 4:01.  I just kinda went and ran today! I tried to go with Mia, but when I would think I'm going well, my breathing would get shallow, and I would back off.  If only I could master my breathing, I would be such a better runner!!

AM- Easy 3, with some yoga.

PM- Timed mile! I got around my race pace I had last year! So that means I am not slowing down!! My time was 5:53. My PR from last year was 5:47, I'm just a little off, but I will get better as the season goes on. :)  My start was completely awful, as usual! So mostly all the girls started in front of me, and I had to make my way around them during the first 200.  I did that!  I knew I could have just did a few quick steps and could've caught up to Mia and ran with her.  But I let my mind win, and decided to take the easy way out... :/  I was able to finish 3rd for the girls team.  Did some striders, and weights!

PM- 8 miles with 24 min tempo!  We ran as a group today! It was great!  I felt like I could push more to stay up with Mia, when more girls were doing the same! I got around the same as last time, cuz I ended the same place, so not bad!

PM- 10 200's. I thought these would be easier, but they were tough!!  The first 2 were a little off. The rest were right on or even a few seconds faster.  Our goal time was 40 sec.  Kept a solid group!

PM- Easy 4 on a trail.  I had a head ache and my head just felt heavy. I ran with Macey, so that was fun. :)  I didn't get lost for the first time in forever.

AM- Easy 3. Felt alright

PM- um.. what the?!  I was so ready for a trail run, but I guess 200's are pretty good too! I did great the first six.  Then I started to back off... I feel so bad because it was right after coach said to run with the people you are supposed to..  I felt awful though.  My chest hurt and so did my throat.  And I am also stressed a bit about school. So that could've have done something..  Oh man, I just wish I could be up with the girls I was supposed to be... I hope I can do better next time.  I only did 11. Should've done 12, but I could barely jog the cool down for the 11th one.  My head was kinda' felt fuzzy too.  Cool down was pretty good. Got to run with Taylor and Sarah.

AM- Easy 3 with some plyos

PM- This workout was way better than last weeks!  I just had a really negative week, last week. I was thinking down on myself like everyday, until Friday for the race. So I did super awful on every one of the workouts.  I wrote on my mirror some positive things, and I say that to myself everyday.  It helps a lot. :)  Today was pretty good!  I was able to keep close to Mia and Ali for most of the 1000.  My times were 3:42, 3:57, 4:11, and 4:02. Also some 300's.  My times for those were 1:02, and :59.  All I wanted for those was to be under a min, the last one was good. :)  Did a cool down and some weights!

AM- easy 3, legs are feeling really tired..

PM- well I thought it was gonna be an easy distance run, but guess not! We had 8 miles with striders.  My legs were really feeling it today.  Even the slightest incline made me exhausted, and made me start breathing hard.  I tried really hard to keep up with the others, but that didn't happen either. They had to stop a few times cuz of me.  I don't know if it really was my body telling me it's tired or if it was my mind.  Either way, I really need to fix it.  I just wish I was up where I am supposed to be, which is improving with Mia and Ali.  I'm the same speed as I was last year, maybe even a little slower. It was the same in XC season too.  Anyways, I'll be done being down on myself.  Today's run was great. :) and I got to stretch with Ali, and get lost coming home with Mia. Pretty fun. :)

AM- Well, I tried to keep up this morning, but ended up running by myself.  It was great.  Did plyos.

PM- So glad it wasn't 800's today! 6 miles sounds way better!  It was still pretty tough with the wind and stuff. Oh and a tiger (Mia) decided to attack Colton and take me down too!! Got a few battle scars to prove that. :)  Anyways, we were able to finish 2 sets and almost finish 3. Like 15 seconds off because of the lights and all the stops we had to do.  Awesome run.

AM- Easy 3 with book stuff!

PM- Easy 4!! With some 200's. We went Fire station backwards.  My legs felt a little better on this run!  They weren't as exhausted.  We stopped at the park since pretty much the whole girls team had to go to the bathroom.  Coach Roberts and some other girls kept on going.  I wanted to wait for Taylor B. so did Meskerem and Josie, but turns out that she was going 3 miles.  So we fell behind too!  It took me a while, but I finally caught up to Mia and Ali!  Then when we were running down the hill, Ali and I sped up and ran together.  We had to stop at a few stop lights, but eventually we all caught up with Coach Roberts and ran as a girl's team and finished together. :) This is what I love!  Running as a team, and not just individuals! It was great! :)  200's were good too!  I worked on my form tons, and relaxed my arms. It felt better to run like that too.  Just in time for tomorrow's race to qualify for BYU. :)
