1 mile walking with baby and husb to the track. They played at the park by the track while I ran 3.5, 8:30 or so AP.  I could see them every time I came around the track.  Made it go by way faster.  Then walked the mile back home with the fam. It was fun to get out with my little family. I always wish my husband would get into running, but since he won't, this was a good way to have my family with me and run too!

I need some major motivation. I'm in such a running rut right now. I did not want to go to the gym.  I could have gotten 6 miles in if I would have just gotten up and gone to the gym instead of tossing and turning and deciding to go then deciding not to go for a half hour.

AP 8:12 on the TM. 1% incline.  This is fast for me. It was lik 24:48 or something like that for 3.  I'm going to try and get faster.  I would like to be able to run Save a Sister 5k in under 24. That would be a PR.  I originally wanted to do the 10k, but I think I can PR a 5k but don't know if I can a 10k. we'll see.

5.5 PM miles pushing baby in the stroller.  It's definitely cooler outside, but I think it's still a little too hot to do miles right after work.  Stopped at 2 to adjust the baby, she always slips down in the jogger.  Then got to 4 and stopped at a park to stretch and let Sophie play. Then 1.5 home again home again.

4 miles on the TM. 2 miles in 16:28 then hit 3 miles at 24:21.  Do you know what that means? It means my 3rd mile was faster than 8 minutes. Hoorah!

 Hit 5k at 25:05

 Then rounded off at 4 with more of a 8:30 mph.  Sweaty betty after that.  

I had debated not running when I made it to the rec this morning and all the treadmills were full, but I waited about 30 seconds and one opened up.  And it was even one of the brand new treadmills. Love that.  Speaking of new treadmills they need more.  Remember how a the rec was just barely closed for 2 weeks for maintenance? Well 3 TM's and like 5 bikes are already out of service because they don't work. Lame.

3 tired miles. 8:20 ap.  Yesterday at work my boss asked me to start working 50-55 hours for the next few weeks... my blogging time will definitely be effected by this :(

I did this little fun run 2 years ago too. It's a fundraiser for the MVHS swim team. So it's not in the slightest official. It starts at the rec so I ran there this morning and on the way I came across another race going on. I thought I must have missed mine. Turns out it was the Racing for Cane race. I did not know that race was right by my house or I would have done it instead. They had cool shirts! Oh well.

Anyway, I didn't have any plans for this 5k. Mostly Iknew I needed to do 6 today and this was a good way to get 3.1 out of the way. I was however disappointed in the time they said when I got to the finish line. 26:28. Oh well, I wasn't racing it at all. And I don't know how accurate that # is since it was just being timed with a stop watch. At any rate I then ran home to get my 6 in.

Can't wait to read the marathon reports from today!!!

If running right into the sun, with a whiny baby in the jogger in the PM isn't enough to get me up in the morning to get my workouts over I don't know what is.
